Real Results in Merdian

The Problem
This Meridian homeowner was dealing with constant standing water and soil erosion against the foundation. The original drainage line was completely clogged with roots, saturated mud, and torn fabric — no water was actually escaping.
Our Solution
We exposed the entire trench, removed the failed drain system, installed a new perforated French drain with proper grading, added protective fabric, and rebuilt the trench using clean, drain-safe gravel.
The Result
A high-flow drainage system that immediately relieves soil saturation, protects the foundation, and keeps the side yard dry year-round.
LOCAL ENGINEERING
THE IDAHO SOIL
CHALLENGE
Idaho isn’t flat dirt — it’s a geological minefield.
The Treasure Valley sits on layers of hardpan clay, river rock, volcanic ash, and compacted soils that drain poorly and shift seasonally.
If your drainage isn’t engineered for the specific soil under your home, it will fail. Most companies install “one-size-fits-all” systems.
We don’t. We map your soil zone before we ever dig.
Treasure Valley Soil Zones
North Meridian / Eagle:
Meridian / Kuna:
Boise Bench:
Sandy Loam & River RockSouth
Heavy Hardpan Clay
Compacted Volcanic Ash & Clay
These zones determine how fast water drains — and how your foundation moves over time. We design your drainage system specifically for YOUR soil’s filtration rate.
We Don’t Guess. We Laser Grade.
Every project uses industrial laser-level equipment to guarantee perfect slope away from your foundation — even on flat lots where water tends to pool.
Proper slope = long-term performance.
Laser accuracy = no surprises.

Joel & The Crew
LOCALLY OWNED IN MERIDIAN
“I’ve lived in Meridian for over a decade, and I’ve seen firsthand how Idaho’s hardpan clay and winter soil expansion destroy foundations. My team and I specialize in permanent drainage systems engineered for the Treasure Valley’s unique soil challenges — so your home stays protected year-round.”
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Paramount Subdivision
The Issue:
A Paramount homeowner had water flooding toward the back patio door due to sprinkler runoff and clay-heavy soil that couldn’t absorb the moisture. The water was beginning to push toward the foundation — a common problem in this subdivision.
The Fix:
We excavated the saturated zone, installed 45 ft of perforated French Drain with proper laser grading, and tied it into a pop-up emitter at the street curb. This redirected all surface and subsurface water safely away from the home.
The Result:
The patio area now drains correctly, the soil stays dry, and the foundation is fully protected from long-term moisture damage.
